An FA Charter Standard Club
Welcome to the Comets Sports Club website. The club is local to Hemel Hempstead and has provided organised football in the community for more than 36 years and is now one of the largest clubs in the area.
We currently run 15 boys teams in 10 age groups, from 6 years of age to 17, 2 Special Needs teams, a Girls team and two senior teams.
Our teams normally compete in one of four local leagues, the West Herts Youth League, the Watford Friendly League, the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League with the two senior teams competing in the Berkhampsted Sunday League. The Special Needs teams play in the Herts FA Inclusive Football League.
All Comets teams are fully affiliated to the Hertfordshire FA and we are a FA charter standard club, a qualification we are proud to of held since 2006.

HOT OF THE PRESS
The 2012 Comets 6-a-side tournament dates have been set by the club committee for the Sat & Sun, the 16th & 17th June 2012. This is normally on a first come first serve basis, and one of the largest tournaments held in the area. So if you want a place for a team, or for all your teams, make sure that you get your team applications into the tournament administrator as early as you can.
On the Saturday we will run the U7’s, U9’s, U11’s, U13’s, U15’s, u16’s along with the girls U9’s and U10’s. Then on Sunday we will be running the U8’s, U10’s, U12’s, U14’s and the Seniors.
