Comets Seniors reach BSFL Final : 11/4/2010
For the third year in succession Comets will play in the final of the BSFL’s Senior League Cup. The final will be held at Hemel Hempstead Town’s Vauxhall Road ground on the afternoon of Sunday 25th April, when Comets will attempt to hold on to the trophy they have won for the last two years.
This year they reached the final courtesy of a bye in round 1, a 6 – 3 victory over Gossoms End, a 5 – 3 win at home to Greenacres II and a semi-final away win over AFC Boars with a 3 – 1 score line. The semi final victory was sweet revenge as AFC Boars had knocked Comets out of the Steve Norwood Challenge Cup just two weeks before.
So put the 25th April in your diaries and come along to support your club’s senior team.

The news broke in the White Hart after Sunday's game when John asked the Senior management team for paternity leave. In denying his request Dan and Steve reminded John that his first commitment was to the club.
